(Outdated) The default ligation template calculator uses its two parameters (TEMPLATING_FIVE_MIN_LENGTH and TEMPLATING_THREE_MIN_LENGTH to determine if a sequence isa ligation template for a given Probe. A padlock probe will be templated by a sequence if it contains a full match of the complement of each end of the probe, using the parameters to determine the length of the sequences that are searched for. For padlock probes these parts should be adjacent, but for Gap-fill probes they may be separated by one nucleotide.
